French Goat Leather Watch Strap – Soft Grain, 18–22mm

Soft grain goat leather, hand-finished. Goatskin has a naturally fine, pebbled grain and a suppleness calfskin only reaches after months on the wrist — this strap is comfortable from the first wear, with no break-in period and no stiff edge digging into your hand.

Each band is cut with a gentle taper, skived thin at the lug end so it sits close under the case, and finished with contrast tan hand-stitch accents at the lug and tail. The floating keeper is made from the same hide. A polished pin buckle is included.

Care

Goat leather takes on a soft patina with wear. Keep it away from prolonged soaking; wipe with a dry cloth and let it air dry naturally if it does get wet.

• Deployant Clasp — add $54.99. Solid stainless steel butterfly (double-fold) clasp with spring push-buttons, in brushed stainless steel. It folds away under the wrist, so the strap keeps its shape and the tail never curls.

The clasp fits using the strap’s existing spring bar — no modification to your watch. It attaches at the buckle end of the strap, which on a tapered strap is narrower than the lug width. The clasp is made in 16mm, 18mm and 20mm: measure across the strap where the buckle currently sits and check it is 20mm or under before adding one.
